Abstract

With a vision to move towards a more connected, collaborative, and sustainable world, Excentis wanted to provide highly interactive and practical telecommunication training and testing sessions. They intended to encourage more and more businesses to master networking effectively and effortlessly by providing a mix of theory with real-time practical sessions.

This vision inspired them to build a training management system where the interested prospects could gather centralized information regarding their training schedules, services, and products, and be able to request custom training. We helped them build a Training Management System that simplified and streamlined their information architecture and helped them get targeted leads in one place.

Excentis: An Introduction

Excentis is a center comprising skilled and qualified engineers who provide training, testing, and independent expertise in telecommunication. They also provide test products and services to help businesses identify issues and measure performance. Their motive is to assist businesses in tackling networking challenges so they work smoothly today and be ready for future challenges and network technology upgrades.

Major Obstacles We Overcame

The core problem our client faced was offering years of experience and expertise in network technologies to businesses who are less aware of or struggling with it. Technocrats solved the client’s problem by building a dynamic custom website that allowed him to offer his services digitally in the most streamlined manner.

Problem:

The client wanted his services to be accessible to all but lacked the necessary expertise to go online.


Solution:

Analysing the client’s needs, we decided the best course was to build a custom training management system that has the capabilities and functionalities to handle a complex information architecture. We streamlined and segmented client offerings and services into multiple web pages so it could be easier for the customers to browse, interact with, and find the right information at the right place.

The client was facing trouble in onboarding interested candidates for training sessions.


Solution:

We built a custom functionality where the client could provide all the training-related data at the backend and the users would be able to see all the details in one place. They can either sign up and book the training session or they can opt for a custom training session for which they have to request via email. This simplified the process of attracting interested clients for the training session.

The client had trouble with managing leads and providing centralized information from his end.


Solution:

We built a dynamic admin panel for the client in WordPress that allows him to upload, modify, or delete any information from anywhere on the TMS. With our customized content management system (CMS), the client had complete access to fill multiple training sessions’ information in a very simplified manner as well  as receiving all the interested candidates’ data in one place for either virtual, in-person, or on-demand training sessions.

The client wanted to provide a product testing feature to demonstrate the best qualities of his products but faced complications with it.


Solution:

To fix this issue, we built features-loaded product pages where users got everything from setup guides to API documentation to support portal access. By going on the support portal, they can get access to

  • Complete documentation regarding the products
  • Exclusive product tutorials
  • Automation downloading functionalities where users can get a real-time experience of the network products.

This simplified user journey allowed the client to display his networking and software products in their most efficient version. It also helped in demonstrating the products’ usability to users which generated more interest towards them.

With an information-heavy website, the chances of breakdown are higher than regular and the client did not know how to handle it.


Solution:

Support and maintenance are a key part of our services so we extended the same support to this client. We did everything from server hosting maintenance to version upgrades to unexpected bug removal. Furthermore, the client needed assistance in managing the backend and the influx of interested leads, so we also provided initial support.
