Technocrats Horizons is looking for a creative and detail-oriented WordPress Frontend Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of front-end development, WordPress theme customization, and responsive design. You will work closely with designers, backend developers, and marketing teams to create high-performing, visually engaging, and user-friendly websites.

Responsibilities:

  1. Convert design mockups into fully functional, pixel-perfect WordPress themes.
  2. Customize and maintain existing themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  3. Ensure responsive and cross-browser compatible layouts.
  4. Optimize site performance, speed, and accessibility.
  5. Collaborate with designers and content teams to implement UI/UX improvements.
  6. Troubleshoot issues and perform regular website updates and maintenance.
  7. Follow SEO best practices in frontend development.
  8. Work collaboratively with team members to deliver tasks within set timelines.
  9. Stay updated on emerging tools, frameworks, and industry trends.

Must Have Skills:

  1. Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  2. Experience with WordPress theme development and customization.
  3. Experience with WooCommerce and eCommerce website frontend customization.
  4. Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first development.
  5. Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
  6. Basic understanding of SEO best practices in frontend.
  7. Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
  8. Hands-on experience in debugging tools like Chrome DevTools.

Good to Have Skills:

  1. Knowledge of REST APIs and AJAX.
  2. Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) guidelines.
  3. Familiarity with performance optimization tools (e.g., Lighthouse, GTmetrix).
  4. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  5. Exposure to basic graphic design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Canva.

Education Required

  1. Graduate:Tech/B.E. in Computers, BCA in Any Specialization.
  2. PG: MBA, MCA in Computers, MS/M.Sc in Any Specialization.
